Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our team at Stoneacre Motor Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile daily banking and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain the purchase ledger by processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and setting up monthly BACS payment runs.
  • Create and process various payments using our online banking system.
  • Process customer refunds through the PDQ machine.
  • Credit control: send statements, chase debtors including vehicle debt.
  • Process Warranty Self Billing Invoices.
  • Process Finance Commission statements.
  • Petty cash control and monthly reconciliation.
  • Process manufacturer bonus Self Billing Invoices and credit notes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in accounting and finance.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
