Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our team at Stoneacre Motor Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily banking and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain the purchase ledger by processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and setting up monthly BACS payment runs.
- Create and process various payments using our online banking system.
- Process customer refunds through the PDQ machine.
- Credit control: send statements, chase debtors including vehicle debt.
- Process Warranty Self Billing Invoices.
- Process Finance Commission statements.
- Petty cash control and monthly reconciliation.
- Process manufacturer bonus Self Billing Invoices and credit notes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounting and finance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
