We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Operative to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality performance in our Plant operations.
Main Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure customers receive high-quality materials and timely deliveries.
- Operate mobile plant equipment, including rigid and articulated dump trucks and loading shovels, to achieve daily and weekly production targets.
- Ensure Plant safety requirements are met at all times, conducting regular inspections and implementing remedial actions as necessary.
- Assist in the maintenance regime of the Plant, maximizing availability and ensuring high standards of housekeeping.
- Proven experience in a similar aggregates environment or industrial setting, preferably with mobile Plant operations.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to develop both operative and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of the industry, Plant, and quarrying processes, with previous experience in mobile Plant operations preferred.
- Flexibility to work as part of an effective Multi-Skilled Operative team, with self-motivation and ability to motivate colleagues.
- Compliance with company policies, targets, goals, and standards, with good timekeeping and communication skills.
