The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is one of Europe's largest research organisations, with a diverse range of research areas including particle physics, astronomy, and materials science. Our team is responsible for promoting our research and innovation to the public, media, and other stakeholders.
About the Placement
This is a 12-month industrial placement opportunity, which will provide you with the chance to gain hands-on experience in science communication, working with our team of scientists and engineers. You will be responsible for researching and presenting our science through a range of written, verbal, and visual channels, including website and social media content creation and development.
About the Team
You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working closely with our scientists and engineers to promote our research and innovation. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in science communication, as well as working on a range of projects and initiatives.
