Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team in Huddersfield. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing sales ledger accounts, reporting, and escalating potential problem debtors to management while maintaining effective customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer payments
  • Report and escalate potential problem debtors to management, providing relevant and up-to-date commentary on outstanding debtors
  • Proactively manage collections in line with customer payment terms and forecasts
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly and proactively to customer queries and debit notes
  • Collaborate with the finance team to achieve a 98% or higher accuracy in collecting debtor payments for the forecasted period

Requirements:

  • Excellent administrative and negotiation skills
  • Ability to present and communicate information effectively
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage conflicting and competing demands
  • Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Visual 2000 accounting system is a plus
