Job Title: Business Intelligence Lead

Join Harnham, a prominent provider of news, insights, and data for the industrial gases industry, as we seek a Business Intelligence Lead to drive our data-driven approach forward.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Intelligence Lead to lead a small team of four who focus on collecting data from global sources and building dashboards, data models, and reports. As part of our restructuring and replatforming of our entire tech stack, you will play a key role in shaping our data-driven culture and enhancing our intelligence platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a data-driven culture by leading efforts to shape and enhance our company's data-driven approach.
  • Build and maintain data models, develop insightful dashboards, and create reports that enable better business decisions.
  • Leverage advanced forecasting models and predictive analytics to guide strategic decision-making and optimize business outcomes.
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of our intelligence product, ensuring it delivers high value to stakeholders.
  • Present BI findings and industry-specific solutions at international conferences, showcasing the impact of data on the industrial gases sector.

Requirements

  • Experience leading an analytics program or technical transformation, along with a strong data-driven and analytical mindset.
  • Engaging personality and good communication skills to articulate the value of analytics when taking part in conferences, podcasts, or other public speaking contexts.
  • Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI, along with SQL and data modelling experience.
  • Management experience is desirable but not essential.
