BI and Insights Lead Job Description

**About the Role**

Harnham is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence and Insights Lead to join our team in Cornwall. As a hybrid role, you will spend 3 days in the office and have the flexibility to work from home. Our company is a prominent provider of news, insights, and data for the industrial gases industry, serving a global client base through its publications, worldwide events, and business intelligence products.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Drive a data-driven culture by shaping and enhancing the company's data-driven approach, pushing the intelligence platform forward to deliver actionable insights.
* Build and maintain data models, develop insightful dashboards, and create reports that enable better business decisions.
* Leverage advanced forecasting models and predictive analytics to guide strategic decision-making and optimize business outcomes.
* Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the intelligence product, ensuring it delivers high value to stakeholders.
* Present BI findings and industry-specific solutions at international conferences, showcasing the impact of data on the industrial gases sector.

**Requirements**

* Experience leading an analytics program or technical transformation, along with a strong data-driven and analytical mindset.
* Engaging personality and good communication skills to articulate the value of analytics when taking part in conferences, podcasts, or other public speaking contexts.
* Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI, along with SQL and data modelling experience.
