Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

The County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join their team. This role will be based at the Darlington Memorial Hospital and will involve working in the Aseptic Unit, supporting the provision of chemotherapy to three locations around the region.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacy staff in delivering safe, effective, and efficient pharmacy and medicines management services.
- Provide expert advice in specialist fields to all members of the directorate, the Trust, and the wider health economy.
- Supervise, support, and develop other pharmacy staff, including junior pharmacists and pre-registration pharmacists.
- Monitor the practice of other healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective prescribing and medicines use.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Sufficient experience to provide highly developed near-patient clinical pharmacy services.
- Practice Research experience.
Salary: £62,000 - £77,900 per annum.
