About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Positive Behaviour Support Clinical Link Pathway Occupational Therapist in TEWV. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload independently, assessing occupational performance, and delivering specialist occupational interventions. You will work closely with the team to ensure adherence to Trust Values and operate as a leader in the team, service, and organisation.

Main Responsibilities
  • To receive referrals for occupational therapy, triage, and prioritise them, completing evidence-based assessments and interventions to address key occupational areas of self-care, productivity, and leisure.
  • To participate in clinical/professional and management supervision.
  • To contribute to and lead on service improvement and quality initiatives.
  • To abide by all Trust policies and procedures.

The post holder will provide evidence-based assessment and interventions as part of the Positive Behaviour Support Clinical Link Pathway (CliP) and OT CliP, offering input to individuals, their families, and carers in clinic and community settings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with a Learning Disability and a postgraduate qualification in a relevant area. They will also have significant knowledge to post-graduate level of the needs and difficulties of service users in designated specialist area.
