Deputy Room Leader Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Room Leader to join our team at Kido Windsor. As a key member of our Early Years team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our children, aged 3 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Room Leader to develop and implement engaging learning experiences that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and the Kido curriculum.
  • Take ownership of your room, ensuring a nurturing environment that caters to individual needs, acknowledging the diversity of each child's background, culture, disabilities, and medical history.
  • Lead by example, showcasing the Kido values and standards, and step up in the Room Leader's absence to ensure the room remains outstanding, welcoming, and supportive.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan, organize, and execute activities that promote curiosity, exploration, and learning.
  • Assess and record children's progress and achievements, ensuring no milestone goes unnoticed and every achievement is celebrated.

Requirements
  • A relevant childcare qualification, level 2 minimum.
  • Alignment with our 3 core values – Listen, Learn, and Lead.
  • Experience as an Educator and/or Deputy Room Leader in a nursery setting.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Disclosure of all unspent convictions and those that would not be filtered prior to the interview.
