About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Early Years Deputy Room Leader to join our team at Kido. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to our young learners.

The Deputy Room Leader will be responsible for supporting the Room Leader in the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring that the children receive the best possible care and education. This will include planning and delivering engaging activities, observing and assessing children's progress, and working closely with the Room Leader to set goals and objectives.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about early years education, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work effectively as part of a team. If you have a strong background in childcare, a relevant qualification, and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Room Leader in the day-to-day management of the nursery
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years
  • Observe and assess children's progress, and work with the Room Leader to set goals and objectives
  • Ensure the nursery is a safe and welcoming environment for children and staff
  • Communicate effectively with parents, children, and colleagues
