We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school for students with Autism. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, providing them with the skills and knowledge to thrive in a caring and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with their learning and general well-being, ensuring every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential.
- Teach 1:1 mixed ability children in a small class of 6-8 pupils, following weekly/daily/seasonal planning.
- Provide group and/or individual activities, planned by the lead teacher, to support students' learning and development.
- Monitor and evaluate students' learning, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
- Ability to teach and support learners with various complex needs.
- Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners.
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
- Teaching Assistant experience, preferably in SEND settings.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- On-site parking.
- Permanent role.
