Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement backend services and APIs leveraging .NET and C#
  • Oversee the integration of backend systems with third-party services through APIs
  • Guarantee optimal performance and responsiveness of backend functionalities
  • Adopt secure data management and validation methodologies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to fulfill system specifications
  • Promote the adoption of HL7 and FHIR standards across the organization
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Enhance systems for scalability and efficiency
  • Manage database architecture and querying for optimal performance and security
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, testing, and debugging processes
  • Document development workflows and adhere to industry best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in backend software development using .NET and C#
  • Proficient in API design and execution
  • Strong understanding of the .NET ecosystem and object-oriented programming principles
  • Familiarity with healthcare data exchange standards is advantageous
  • Database expertise (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork capabilities
  • Excellent communication and project management skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Azure and version control systems like Git
  • Familiarity with additional backend technologies and frameworks
  • Previous experience in the healthcare sector
  • Experience in a lead or senior developer capacity
  • Understanding of DevOps tools and methodologies
