Job Title: Registered Care Home Manager

A highly skilled and experienced Registered Care Home Manager is required to lead a team of dedicated professionals in providing exceptional care to residents living with dementia in a state-of-the-art care home in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

About the Role:
  • Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are delivered to residents, promoting their interests and understanding their needs.
  • Manage a team of staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support, recruiting and onboarding new staff, and developing and encouraging the team.
  • Ensure business objectives and CQC compliance criteria are met by cultivating good working relationships with stakeholders and working collaboratively to maintain outstanding service and care levels.
  • Have full commercial control and work closely with the Customer Relations Team to maintain optimum occupancy through creative marketing strategies, ensuring cost control over fees and staffing.
  • Submit regular management information reports on occupancy levels, fees, budget controls, and staffing.
  • Work closely with the Hospitality and Maintenance teams to ensure high standards in the home's environment, including food presentation, housekeeping, and care and maintenance of residents' clothing and building.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Registered Care Home Manager with CQC.
  • Experience and knowledge of working in dementia care.
  • Proven track record in management and delivery of high-quality care within a residential setting and financial management planning.
  • Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading, and motivating others.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and care inspectorate.
  • Passionate, driven, confident, and resilient leader.
  • Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to lead, motivate, and inspire the team.
