Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-organized individual to join our busy Receptions Team at West Sussex County Council. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering a range of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to the public and colleagues, communicating effectively and developing good working relationships.
- Deliver timely and efficient administrative support, including data entry, filing, and organizing meetings and agendas.
- Update and maintain relevant records accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to queries independently, following procedures and referring complex queries under guidance.
- Handle confidential and sensitive data with care and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your style to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
- Good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
