About the Role
Screwfix is seeking a highly skilled Product Imagery Coordinator to join our Product & Data Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our product imagery and instruction manuals meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather high-quality images and assets, meeting tight deadlines.
- Ensure all assets adhere to internal guidelines, are accurately formatted, and uploaded in a timely manner.
- Take ownership of product imagery in designated categories, maintaining consistency across the product life cycle.
- Manage and maintain the Screwfix image systems, performing regular housekeeping tasks.
- Support the development of internal processes and systems, including testing and quality assurance.
- Effectively manage workloads and priorities to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Proofread printed publications to ensure accurate and consistent imagery.
- Brief external photography agencies for new cut-out photography as required.
- Respond to image-related inquiries and questions from the business.
- Suggest and implement improvements to image processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Support the Product Imagery Manager on ad-hoc projects to improve image collection and management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve escalated issues and share knowledge.
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is essential.
- Proven ability to manage multiple internal and external relationships is crucial.
- Strong Adobe Photoshop skills and a good understanding of Microsoft applications, including Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with colleagues.
- Self-motivation and a positive attitude, with a willingness to work as part of a team.
