About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Strategic SVP of Compliance & Risk to oversee our global compliance operations. This critical role ensures compliance and manages risks across the UK, EU, US, Australia, South America, and Asia. The successful candidate will develop and execute compliance strategies to support our growth plans and navigate complex regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and leadership: Full operational risk and compliance ownership, ensuring strict adherence to regulations and policies aligned with our company strategy.
  • Leadership and development: Lead, mentor, and develop our Compliance team, fostering a proactive and risk-aware approach.
  • Strategic partnership: Act as a strategic business partner to our Leadership Team, promoting engagement and empowerment with risk management, escalating compliance issues to the Board.
  • Compliance strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive compliance strategy, balancing risk and regulatory compliance, while improving overall compliance performance.

Fitness and Proper Requirements:

  • Continue to meet Fit & Proper regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience and a proven track record in leading compliance teams in high-growth, international settings.

What Happens Next?

  • Selected candidates will be invited for an initial interview with our Senior Talent Acquisition Lead.
  • Then, a second interview with our VP of Compliance and VP Financial Crime.
  • Next, a third stage meeting with our Senior Legal Counsel and Chief Legal Officer.
  • Finally, our SVP of People and Chief Executive Officer will also chat with you.
  • If successful, you'll be given a job offer proposal.
