About Dandelion Time
Dandelion Time's pioneering nature-based therapy aims to rebuild confidence and self-belief in children and families affected by trauma, enabling them to move forward.
To support our growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator to join our close-knit and supportive team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our collaborative and successful Fundraising and Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Fundraising and PR. Key responsibilities include:
- Exemplary stewardship of donors and prospective supporters through excellent written and verbal communications.
- Effective and efficient management of the CRM system.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy and sometimes demanding administrative support position. They should be proficient in Microsoft Office Packages (including Outlook and Teams) and possess creative problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
A great sense of humour and passion for transforming the lives of traumatised children and their families are essential qualities for success in this role.
What We Offer
We strive to achieve a happy and healthy work-life balance for all our staff. Where practicable, we offer flexible working arrangements to accommodate individual lifestyles.
In addition, we provide:
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time staff), with the option to purchase additional leave up to 50 days per annum.
- A generous enhanced sick pay scheme.
- A 5% contributory pension scheme.
- Excellent communication and technology processes.
- Skilled, supportive, collaborative, fun, and caring colleagues.
- The opportunity to work in and with nature at our rural settings.
This is a 22.5-hour role, split across three or four days from home and our Maidstone HQ, with at least one day per week in the office. The successful candidate will also need to be available for some evenings and weekends to support events and site visits. Please note that public transport is limited at our sites, so own transport is required.
Safeguarding and Equality
Dandelion Time prioritises safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and their families. Our robust recruitment procedures prevent unsuitable individuals from applying for or securing employment within the charity. All employees undergo safeguarding checks in line with statutory guidance. A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check against both the Adult and Child Barred List is mandatory. Evidence of ID, right to work in the UK, relevant qualifications, current address, and satisfactory references are also required.
Dandelion Time strives for inclusivity, creating a diverse organisation that benefits from various perspectives and better reflects the communities it serves.
