Job Title: Career Development Specialist

Elizabeth School of London is a leading private higher education provider in the UK, with campuses in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, and Northampton. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Development Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues to provide high-quality career guidance and support to students. This will involve developing and delivering career development programs, workshops, and one-on-one coaching sessions to help students explore different career options and make informed decisions about their professional paths.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver career development programs and initiatives to support students' professional growth
  • Provide personalized guidance and support to students, helping them to identify and develop the skills required for successful employment
  • Assist students in developing effective job search strategies, including resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, and online job application techniques
  • Establish and maintain relationships with employers, industry professionals, and alumni to create networking and employment opportunities for students
  • Collaborate with employers to promote job openings, internships, and other career-related opportunities
Requirements:
  • Direct experience in student coaching/career guidance support
  • Relevant experience in high volume graduate recruitment/jobs brokerage
  • Good IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and use of databases
  • Private medical insurance with BUPA
