Job Title: Career Development Specialist

Elizabeth School of London is a leading private higher education provider in the UK, with campuses in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, and Northampton. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Development Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues to ensure a high-quality and consistent student experience. They will provide personalized guidance and support to students, helping them explore different career options and make informed decisions about their professional paths.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a source of expertise for ESL on matters relating to student career and employability.
  • Provide job search assistance, including resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, networking, and online job application techniques.
  • Help students identify and develop the skills required for successful employment, such as communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and digital literacy.
  • Design and implement career development programs and initiatives to support students' professional growth.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with employers, industry professionals, and alumni to create networking and employment opportunities for students.
Requirements:
  • Direct experience in student coaching/career guidance support.
  • Relevant experience in high-volume graduate recruitment/jobs brokerage.
  • Good IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and use of databases.
