About the Role

As a Residential Childcare Specialist at Wilderness Way, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children in our residential setting. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each child.

We are seeking an experienced Children's Support Worker Lead who can inspire and motivate our young people to reach their full potential. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence through skill-building activities and life skills training.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver tailored care plans.
