">About the Role:
">We are seeking a highly skilled and caring individual to provide direct care to children and young people in a residential setting. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for implementing individual care plans, supporting residents' emotional, social, and developmental needs, and creating a safe and stimulating environment.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Providing direct care to children and young people in a residential setting
- Implementing individual care plans and supporting resident's emotional, social, and developmental needs
- Creating a safe, positive, and stimulating environment for residents
- Working collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals
- Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills
- Block shifts
Requirements:
">- A strong understanding of child development and safeguarding principles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Experience within residential settings with children and young people
