Accounting Manager

Our client, a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants, is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join their team in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts for a mixed portfolio of clients, supervising junior members of the team, and dealing with other management tasks within the Department.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in practice and hold a professional qualification such as ACCA/ACA. They will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a good technical knowledge of FRS102 1A. A good understanding of software such as CCH, Sage, Caseware, and Xero would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring all accounts are completed to a high standard
- Supervising junior members of the team and providing guidance and support
- Dealing with other management tasks within the Department, including budgeting and forecasting
- Developing and applying technical and commercial knowledge to improve the firm's services
