The Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Munich Re Specialty Group. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and processing your own work to ensure efficient and effective handling of team workload.

  • Prepare documentation as required and calculate premium adjustments and debits by reference to rating and underwriting schedules within policies.
  • Prepare renewal statistics including premium/claims experience in detail where requested by Underwriters.
  • Make a positive input into the team's effectiveness by suggesting ways to alter and improve work systems and processes.
  • Respond to and take ownership of customer enquiries and allocated mail.
  • Work flexibly within a team carrying out a wide range of tasks, assisting colleagues wherever pressure is greatest.
  • Ensure open communication and collaboration across all lines of business and the sales and development function.

Key Responsibilities

  • General administrative duties.
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with other team members, the Claims Department, the Sales and Development Team, the Syndicate and the Directors.
  • Build and maintain strong external relationships with a range of contacts within the allocated intermediaries and customers.

Requirements

  • Basic level of technical/product knowledge, a genuine curiosity about cyber and a desire to develop current knowledge.
  • Ability to understand established systems and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer focused.
  • Ability to prioritise own work and manage workloads.
