Pertemps TM is seeking a dedicated Workshop Assistant to join our client's team in Oxfordshire.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and arrange shipments using online courier platforms.
  • Logistics Management: Unload deliveries manually and with forklift/pallet truck operation. Process incoming deliveries through the internal SAP system.
  • Inventory Control: Unpack deliveries, organize stock within designated areas, manage stock levels, and place orders with suppliers.
  • Workshop Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment. Contribute to servicing, repairs, and general maintenance of the hire fleet (training provided).
Requirements:
  • Mechanical or engineering experience is highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a workshop or warehouse setting is essential.
  • A forklift truck license is preferred but not mandatory. Training can be provided.
  • Proficiency with basic IT skills, including MS Office programs and Outlook.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license.
