Workshop Assistant Opportunity

Pertemps Aylesbury is seeking a skilled Workshop Assistant to join our team in Oxfordshire.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist with various tasks in our workshop, including picking and packing orders, arranging shipments, and maintaining stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking and packing orders with precision and efficiency
  • Coordinating shipments using online courier portals
  • Unloading deliveries manually and by forklift/pallet truck
  • Receiving deliveries and updating the internal computer system (SAP)
  • Organizing stock in the workshop and managing stock levels
  • Cleaning the workshop and associated areas to maintain a tidy and presentable environment
  • Servicing and maintaining hire fleet vehicles, with training provided
Requirements
  • Previous mechanical or engineering experience is an advantage
  • Workshop or warehouse experience is essential
  • Forklift truck license is preferred, but training can be provided
  • Basic IT literacy, including MS Office programs and Outlook
  • A valid UK driving license is required
