About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team at Fletchers Solicitors. As a Learning and Development Coordinator, you will play a key part in delivering a proactive and comprehensive Learning and Development service across the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Administration for development activities, including sending out invitations, booking training, keeping track of attendance, and updating registers.
  2. Administration involved in the induction process and new starter communication.
  3. Attendance of Induction and internal training events in a supporting capacity.
  4. Liaising with external training providers to source and book training.
  5. Research and booking of external courses including notifying employees of course details.
  6. Liaising with accounts for payment requests and keeping records up to date.
  7. Support with apprentices and trainee coordination and record keeping.
  8. Maintenance of relevant CPD records as required by the SRA.
  9. Managing subscriptions.
  10. Any ad hoc duties as requested by the L&D department.

General Responsibilities:

  1. Support individuals with their development across the business.
  2. Manage academy inbox.
  3. Keep L&D reports up to date i.e. spending tracker and qualifications.
  4. Track development plans, conversations, and records on PeopleHR.
  5. Attend external events on an ad hoc basis i.e. careers fairs.
  6. Assist with the recruitment process for both legal and non-legal apprenticeships as required.
  7. Attend meetings and take notes.
  8. Undertake ad hoc project work as required.

Learning Management System:

  1. Update The Knowledge Hub with new starters, relocations, and leavers.
  2. The Knowledge Hub reporting for departments as needed.
  3. Weekly and monthly training reports and updates to management.
  4. Adding training sessions and recordings onto The Knowledge Hub.
  5. Regular review and maintenance of The Knowledge Hub courses.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
  • Ability to engage and manage key stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to maintain discretion in confidential matters.
  • Previous generalist administration experience.
  • Previous customer service experience.
