Job Title: Apprentice Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Finance Business Partner to join our team at Bayman Atkinson Smythe Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial and commercial support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive and responsive financial and commercial support to the finance team and wider organization.
  • Support budget holders and stakeholders with expert advice and insightful analysis to drive informed decision-making.
  • Build relationships with the asset management team and increase financial awareness.
  • Reconcile funds received by funders and reconcile between various operational and financial systems.
  • Work closely with colleagues to build and maintain cash reporting models.
  • Assist in the delivery of the monthly management accounts and provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
  • Support the Project Accounting Manager in the preparation of the company's financial regulatory returns.
  • Provide support through the BRIXX financial planning system.
  • Support with the production of service charge accounts and work with the Financial Reporting Manager on the creation of departmental variance analysis reports.
Requirements:
  • Qualified or actively working towards a financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA).
  • Previous work experience in a relevant finance role.
  • Business Partner role experience supporting Budget Holders.
  • High degree of analytical and problem-solving experience.
  • Strong Excel skills, including formula knowledge and handling large volumes of data.
  • Organised, deadline-driven, and a great communicator.
What We Offer:

Paying up to £60,000 alongside hybrid working and a 12-month fixed-term contract.
