Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, including forecasting, modelling, and scenario planning, to inform strategic decision-making.
- Financial Performance Analysis: Analyse the impact of business decisions on key financial metrics such as net profit, cash flow, and the balance sheet.
- Customer Analysis: Evaluate the financial performance of the customer base, including cost per acquisition, customer retention rates, and lifetime value.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, financial planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Reporting: Develop and present comprehensive financial reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Industry Monitoring: Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and market conditions to inform strategic opportunities and risks.
- Support: Support the finance team with monthly and quarterly reporting processes.
- Financial Advisory: Act as a financial advisor to the leadership team, providing strategic insights that drive growth and profitability.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or analytical role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Skills: Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial statements and key performance metrics.
- Communication: Demonstrated ability to present complex financial data and insights clearly and effectively to senior leadership and non-finance stakeholders.
- Commercial Acumen: Commercially savvy with a strategic mindset and the ability to drive business decisions through data-driven insights.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
