Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Risk Manager to join our team at Travelex. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's products and services comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure regulatory compliance of the business.
  • Provide regulatory support to the company's product agenda, including ensuring compliance with card scheme requirements.
  • Manage operational compliance and risk controls for product development.
  • Work closely with other compliance and risk colleagues to foster a cross-departmental approach to compliance and risk management.
  • Manage product and marketing requests for approval of regulated products.
  • Internal reporting to ensure consistency with global standards and approach.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of compliance and risk management experience in a card/payment service/e-money/FCA-regulated firm or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in driving 'compliance by design' across payment services and e-money, particularly in prepaid card products.
  • Strong understanding of the card payment ecosystem, scheme rules, and key regulatory requirements.
  • Experience of working with card schemes such as Mastercard and Visa.
  • Motivated, self-starter with proven experience of working Agile.
