Are you a dedicated educator passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a qualified KS3 SEMH Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored support to Key Stage 3 students with SEMH needs through one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions.
  • Create and implement individualized education plans that cater to the unique requirements of each student.
  • Develop engaging and interactive lessons that promote academic progress and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of SEMH interventions and strategies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN)
  • Training in behaviour management techniques
  • Experience working in a similar role within a school setting
Estimated Salary Range

£20 - £30 Per hour

About the Role

This is a temporary position with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will work full-time hours with flexibility required to meet student needs. You will work closely with school staff and external professionals in a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
