We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Therapist to join our SEMH specialist schools in Chelmsford, Essex, as a Speech and Language Therapist. About the Role

This role is for a Paediatric Therapist to work in our SEMH specialist schools in Chelmsford, Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of therapeutic interventions to support the social, emotional, behavioural, and educational development of pupils.


Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver a range of therapeutic interventions to support the social, emotional, behavioural, and educational development of pupils.
  • To work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver a seamless therapeutic approach that addresses the whole-child needs.
  • To maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attend regular review meetings with parents and carers.
  • To contribute to the development of therapeutic plans and provide feedback to colleagues.
  • To participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Person Specification

We are seeking a Paediatric Therapist who has:



  • A degree-level qualification in their specialist field.
  • Registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience working with children and young people in challenging contexts.
  • A range of experience in their specialist therapeutic field.
  • Experience of operating in the classroom or similar environments.
