Job Title: Factory Operative

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Operative to join our team. As a Factory Operative, you will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of double-glazed units, operating equipment in the factory, and assembling and checking products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the assembly and preparation of components used in the manufacture of double-glazed units.
  • Operate equipment in the factory to assemble products using hands, machinery, and various tools.
  • Assemble and check products, ensuring all machinery is running smoothly and assisting in racking and loading prior to deliveries to customers.
Requirements:
  • No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be given.
  • Experience in production and manufacturing, mechanical or engineering processes would be advantageous.
  • Reliability, hard work, and a fast learning ability are essential.
  • Good timekeeping and the ability to use your own initiative are required.
  • Fluency in English is necessary due to health and safety requirements around machinery.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £22,360-£29,744 per annum.
  • 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays, with an additional week in August and one week for Christmas shutdown.
