Machinist - Structural Insulated Panels Specialist

Spider is seeking a skilled Machinist to join their production team in Mendlesham, Stowmarket. As a vital part of their team, you will be responsible for the precise cutting and handling of SIP panels and structural timbers.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting SIP Panels & Structural Timbers according to project design drawings.
- Safely moving timber packs and SIP panels around the workshop.
- Ensuring all items are cut accurately and efficiently, marked with the correct codes.
- Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain high standards of quality.
- Handling any reasonable requests from the Director as part of the role's scope.
You will be a dedicated and detail-oriented Machinist who can interpret production drawings and has experience in structural carpentry, welding, or steel fabrication. A flexible approach is required, and you will also hold a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to the client's location. It would be ideal if you held a forklift licence.
Benefits- Competitive Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience).
