Financial Manager

Exertis (UK) Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in leading a small team, ensuring best practice financial reporting, safeguarding company assets, and maintaining tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the company is tax compliant and all returns are submitted accurately and on time.
- Prepare year-end audit files and liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Manage treasury, cash-flow forecasts, and planning.
- Responsibility for payroll review and sign-off.
- Manage and report key business metrics.
- Work closely with the Head of Finance on cost/benefit analysis for new initiatives.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Analysis of all overheads.
- Manage finance team in daily operations.
- Work closely with business leaders and other departments on an ongoing basis.
The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience. They should excel in managing and coaching direct reports, possess excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, and have a keen attention to detail.
