Job Description

This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to develop, lead, and manage a range of programmes for the benefit of grassroots football clubs, working closely with commercial partners and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of programmes, including 'A Greener Game', Howdens Game Changer Programme, and Nike Partner Clubs, to ensure their successful delivery and maximum benefit to the club network.
  • Coordinate multiple project teams with commercial partners and stakeholders to ensure high-quality programme delivery.
  • Take overall responsibility for programme leadership and management, establishing key lines of responsibility with partners and stakeholders.
  • Support the development of programme materials, including marketing packs, digital assets, application forms, and assessment processes.
  • Communicate effectively with Football Foundation, County FA, and clubs network to ensure effective programme delivery and meet desired scale/number of applications.
  • Demonstrate best practice by compiling data, using case studies, and monitoring programme effectiveness, communicating results with partners.
  • Contribute to developing new programmes with the FA partnerships team, including supporting pilot projects that benefit the club network.
  • Execute additional tasks as required to meet FA Group changing priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Complete a DBS check as part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of sport development/business development from a clubs and facilities perspective.
  • Experience of working within or influencing a network of individuals or groups.
  • Experience of working in a challenging multi-stakeholder environment in delivering programmes.
  • Significant experience in the delivery of sport facility projects.
  • Ability to work in different teams on different projects.
  • High level of communication skills, including presentation and stakeholder management.
