About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our Operations team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global warehouse and delivery network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and foster a culture of safety and excellence
  • Ensure statutory compliance and implement safety programs to provide a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to attract and retain high-quality staff
  • Develop and implement standards to drive equipment reliability and safety
  • Maintain equipment failure contingency plans and coordinate rehearsals with affected parties
  • Work with Site Management, Finance, and internal design teams to plan for future growth and upgrades
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience at Amazon
  • Experience in employee and performance management
  • Experience in distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field
  • Experience in facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards
  • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics
