About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our team. As a site lead for all engineering matters within a building, you will be responsible for leading your team and building a culture of safety. You will ensure all statutory compliance requirements are followed to provide a safe working environment for all occupants of the building, and provide a high level of equipment availability to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team and own the annual reporting responsibilities for the team, mentoring direct reports who develop technicians within the team.
  • Work with the site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement, record, and audit safety and statutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Implement standards validated by the EU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to create or update standards as required.
  • Maintain equipment failure contingency plans, coordinate rehearsals with affected parties, and be prepared to work in a flexible manner to ensure failures or breakdowns are rectified as quickly as possible.
  • Maintain a long-term focus by working with Site Management, Finance, the EU Engineering team, and internal design teams to plan for future growth, upgrades, or new equipment rollouts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience at Amazon.
  • Experience in employee and performance management, distribution or manufacturing fields with equivalent mechanical or electrical fields.
  • Experience in facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in design review processes to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards.
  • Experience in automated conveyor systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, and industrial electronics.
