Job Title: Retail Store Manager

Location: Leicester City Centre

Salary: From £22,500 per year

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Uniform Direct is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our Leicester City Centre branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in retail management, with experience in leading teams, managing budgets, and driving sales growth. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet company targets
  • Leading and motivating a team of sales staff to deliver excellent customer service
  • Managing the store's inventory, including ordering and stock control
  • Ensuring the store is maintained to a high standard, including visual merchandising and store displays
  • Analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth

Key Responsibilities:

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leadership and team management
  • Sales and revenue growth
  • Inventory management and control
  • Store maintenance and visual merchandising
  • Customer service and satisfaction

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years' experience in face-to-face retail clothing sales
  • 1 year's experience in supervising a team in retail clothing
  • 1 year's experience in customer service
  • Retail clothing management experience
  • GCSE or equivalent
  • A full clean driving licence and own transport

Circumstances:

The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays, and will need to be able to travel to schools and other venues to attend meetings and deliver stock. You will also be required to be accessible by telephone to provide out-of-hours emergency cover.
