Early Years Teaching Assistant Wanted

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary school in Haslingden. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality education and care to young children, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team to deliver engaging lessons and activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in planning and implementing the curriculum, as well as contributing to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social and emotional development. The estimated salary for this role is around £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • To support the class teacher in delivering the curriculum and promoting pupil progress.
  • To contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social and emotional development.
  • To work collaboratively with the teaching team to plan and implement engaging lessons and activities.

Requirements:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Early Years Education or a related field is desirable but not essential.
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks will be required as part of the recruitment process.
