Maintenance Fitter Job Description

Inform3 is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join their team in the Food Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject and a minimum of 4+ years of experience working in a plant industry as a maintenance fitter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in problem-solving activities with technical equipment and provide support to all maintenance teams.
  • Report to the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager on a day-to-day basis.
  • Work within a team environment to problem solve and provide support to the maintenance team.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture by sustaining good housekeeping standards and wearing correct PPE.
  • Complete all risk assessments and document all relevant information.
  • Carry out all mechanical maintenance issues within all areas.
  • Use all equipment correctly and appropriately to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Debug assemblies and machines by identifying and correcting problems affecting proper operation.
  • Meet deadlines and goals and help with reaching team targets.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance, breakdown, repair, and plant industry.
  • Project works and PPMs.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to maintenance teams.
