About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at GRAHAM Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repair services to our clients in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical maintenance and repair activities on water and wastewater sites, including planned and reactive maintenance, and minor installations.
  • Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments and adhering to best practices.
  • Use your initiative to solve technical problems associated with electrical maintenance activities, including sourcing parts and materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
  • Liaise closely with our control hub to ensure efficient response to all works, either working alone or as part of a team.
  • Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out to ensure our clients are kept up to date at all times.
  • Pro-actively identify and report follow-on works.
  • Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with current regulations and client specifications.
  • Undertake a range of electrical works, including but not limited to planned maintenance, fault finding, and cause diagnosis.
  • Assist other trades as required.
  • Deal with a variety of clients on a daily basis, representing the company and being courteous and professional in your dealings with them at all times.
  • Work unsupervised in a large geographical area and prioritize your workload.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide regular out-of-hours cover.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician with a recognized electrical or ICA craft or technician apprenticeship, and at least 12 months experience in providing call-out services. You should have a full UK driver's license and be registered with a relevant trade organization, such as CSCS or CSR. Desirable criteria include experience in ICA planned and reactive maintenance activities in the water industry, working around confined spaces, and holding relevant certifications such as IEE Wiring Regulations and COSHH training.
