Job Title: Datacenter Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical consultancy to customers on system performance, integration, and configuration.
  • Develop and maintain hands-on expertise in shell, Perl, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Ensure high availability of the production environment, meeting business needs and Service Level Agreements.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis for high-severity issues, collaborating with multiple teams for successful resolution.
  • Participate in OS and software/hardware component upgrade/patching planning and execution.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on middleware issues, security threats, and vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery policy establishment and testing across Middleware environments.
  • Adhere to Change and Release Management processes.
  • Develop technical documentation on monitoring and performance.
  • Regularly report project updates to SDM and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Lead problem determination on system errors or malfunctions, collaborating with application teams/suppliers.
  • Perform capacity studies to analyze current resource utilization and estimate future requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit exercises for certification and contractual requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with technological advancements, emerging standards, and new software/hardware solutions.

Technical Requirements:

  • Windows Servers: Wintel server OS and hardware (HP, IBM, and Dell).
  • Network Load-Balancing: Design, implementation, and support for NetScaler, Access Gateway with Advanced Access Control, Load Balancing, GSLB, SSL Offloading, responders, and rewrites on VPX, SDX, and MPX appliances.
