About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Manager to lead our team at Westwood House Nursing Home. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents, while also providing leadership and guidance to our care staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered to the highest standard.
- Lead and motivate a team of care professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents, working closely with our care staff to ensure that these plans are delivered effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as necessary.
- Collaborate with other members of the management team to ensure that the care home is running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a nursing setting, with a strong background in operational management.
- Current driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
