Job Title: Care Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join our team at Thistle Healthcare Jobs. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their independence, privacy, dignity, and respect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and oversee housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures and documentation.
  • Facilitate guidance and mentorship of more junior Housekeeping staff within the care home.
  • Carry out support visits to all care homes across the group to review housekeeping, laundry, and infection control standards.
  • Ensure that the housekeeping teams maintain infection prevention and control within the services as the group IPC champion.
  • Work proactively with Home Managers and Housekeeping teams in each service.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Experience in a care or housekeeping environment.
