Highways Maintenance Coordinator Specialist

SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused specialist to join our team as a Highways Maintenance Coordinator.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the delivery of an efficient and effective service through proactive management of our PFI contract.

About the Role:

The primary responsibilities of this position include monitoring and managing the centralised inbox for the Highways Maintenance Division, triaging, allocating, following up, filing and archiving material according to particular instructions.

A strong relationship builder with colleagues, customers and contractors will be essential in ensuring quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage workload, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely and high-quality performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, customers and contractors to ensure quality service delivery.
Requirements:

• Customer-focused mindset with ability to provide a quality service to stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits.
