We're seeking an experienced professional to join our Client Team as a Technical Officer – Environmental Maintenance, supporting the Council's Highways Maintenance Division.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and administer our multi-billion-pound PFI highways contract, applying your knowledge and expertise in operational delivery of Grounds Maintenance, Arboriculture, Street Cleansing, and Winter Maintenance Services.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for leading partners, the voluntary sector, and other key stakeholders to deliver joined-up services focused on the needs of our local communities.

We require someone with excellent stakeholder and performance management and monitoring/auditing skills, with a passion for innovating and applying creative approaches to achieve continuous improvements to public services.

An estimated salary for this position is around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on location and experience.

To succeed in this role, you should have a background in at least one of the key service areas (Grounds Maintenance, Arboriculture, Winter Maintenance, Street Cleansing, or other public realm management), with the ability to lead and manage projects effectively.

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven individual who can demonstrate a track record of delivering service excellence, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and community engagement.
