About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Research Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects in genomic sequencing, contributing to technology that can transform healthcare and research.

As a Senior Research Assistant, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working on synthesis, characterization or testing of core chemical components of our sequencing platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include laboratory-based work, enhancing your skills and experience in key areas of chemistry such as intermediates, phosphoramidites, and triphosphates.

You will also have opportunities for networking within the biotech and engineering communities and receive competitive internship compensation.

The ideal candidate will be available to accept a minimum 3-month placement, commencing from spring/summer 2025, and be present in our Oxford HQ on Oxford Science Park. You will work full-time hours for the duration of the placement.
