Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Operative

About the Role
We are seeking an Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Operative to join our team at Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust. This is a key operational support function that ensures patient safety and supports operations in meeting its targets.
Main Responsibilities
As an Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Operative, you will be responsible for preparing and deep cleaning frontline ambulance vehicles in accordance with the Ambulance Vehicle Preparation (AVP) requirements. This includes maintaining effective housekeeping of the garage and associated clinical areas, and working at various locations (transport provided).
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a valid full C1 category on your driving license and be able to work unsociable hours on a 7-day/24-hour shift rota system. Previous cleaning experience, working knowledge of COSHH/Risk Assessments, and previous knowledge of Infection Control Procedures are desirable.

Training and Development
We offer an initial 4-week training package as part of your learning and development. This will include Level 2 Apprenticeship and access to Level 2 NCFE.
