Astrix Personnel Limited's SEN school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support for Students with Special Needs professional to join our team.
Job Overview
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in a school or childcare setting. You will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to students with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD or other learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide social, emotional, and physical support to students with special needs
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with teachers to create and maintain an organized classroom setting
- Support students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and participation
- Help students with daily tasks such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Monitor student behavior and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £8,500 - £10,625 per year (£80-£105 per day), depending on experience.
