  • Reconcile tax and pension accounts on a monthly basis
  • Manage tax matters in the UK and Europe, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts, including financial statements and tax returns
  • Maintain knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate accounting practices
  • Prepare tax accruals and VAT returns within set deadlines
  • Manage duty declarations and AEO status for optimal tax efficiency
  • Collaborate with various departments to communicate tax implications and promote a culture of transparency

This position also requires:

  • Degree education
  • Accounting qualification is advantageous, but not essential
  • Tax experience is mandatory

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high level of numeracy and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal, relational, and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Good knowledge of business processes and procedures
  • Self-motivation and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent personal organisation and time management skills

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, stability, and security for a technically motivated individual.
